A four-day celebration of African American culture centered around a rivalry football game between two Historically Black Colleges and Universities will have a high-profile sponsor when it comes to Columbus this summer.

Nationwide Insurance is sponsoring the event, which will be dubbed the Classic for Columbus presented by Nationwide.

The main event, a football game between Central State University and Kentucky State University, will take place at the Historic Crew Stadium, formerly known as Mapfre Stadium, on Aug. 28.

The four-day celebration and multicultural festival jamboree, which is expected to bring $10 million into the city of Columbus and draw about 20,000 people, will take place from Aug. 25 to 29.
